Margret Virostek's Electronic Portfolio
"A wiki  is a website that allows the creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified markup language or a WYSIWYG text editor. Wikis are typically powered by wiki software and are often used to create collaborative works. Examples include community websites, corporate intranets, knowledge management systems, and note services. The software can also be used for personal notetaking." -WIkipedia

In this assignment we were to include a introductory page sharing information about ourselves and then two emergent technology sites that we had explored and would review.  Next we were to create two seperate pages, one page for each review on a different website. There was a list of different emergent technology websites that we could choose from to explore and write about. I chose to write about Storybird and Wordle.  In reviewing these sites we talked about the pros and cons of these sites and how they could be used within the classroom setting.

To learn more about these two websites and to see links to these sites, click on the link below to check out my reviews.
