Margret Virostek's Electronic Portfolio
"A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. These can be created using various programs, including a simple word processing document that includes links to websites." -Wikipedia

The purpose of this assignment is to show that we could create a website where students can "interact with resources beyound the classroom in order to actively engage in the learning process and higher levels of thinking while reinforcing their learning." Diane Schrecker

In doing this assignment, we were to make this assignment visually appealing with appropriate graphics and themes.  We were to have links throughout the site that would make it easy to navigate through.  There were five main parts to this webquest: the introduction, the task, the process, the resources and the evaluation.  Each of these parts were to have their own specific page, detailing what is asked of the student, how the student was to go about doing the assignment, the resources to use, and how they would be evaluated when they completed the assignment. The overall goal of this assignment was to create a website that gave students a place to go to complete an assignment. They could use this website to find out about the assignment, as well as use the resources on the website.  There is no need to search any farther for information because it is all on this website.
